Our Wired Portable Only system is designed to accommodate officers who work exclusively with their portable radio, both on and off the motor, and have no need for a headset connection to a mobile radio.

Wired Headset with option of wired connection to shouldermic or a breakaway cable as a replacement of the shouldermic.

The System allows operation of the Portable Radio as a normal “handheld” with both transmit and receive capability while the Adapter is attached

Wired Helmet microphone Push-To-Talk (PTT) is available at either the adapter, or at the motorcycle handlebars when the officer mates the pigtail connections shown
Key Features and Operation:
The Wired System allows operation of Portable Radio as a normal “handheld” with both transmit and receive capability while Adapter is attached.
Receive audio is muted at Portable and communications re-direct to helmet only when helmet is connected to the adapter.
Helmet microphone Push-To-Talk (PTT) is available at either the adapter, or at the motorcycle handlebars when officer mates the pigtail connections
By pressing a second handlebar PTT button, motorcycle siren will be activated as a Public Address (PA) System, and Officer can then broadcast from helmet microphone to direct traffic, etc.
